30 and single? Who cares!

A recent report says that if you are 30 and still single, you need to change your dating patterns. We say, turn a deaf ear...
So what if you haven't found anyone worth committing to it yet? And so what, if you've turned 30 and still enjoy being solo. Let alone dating patterns, don't let this change anything since love will find you anyway, even through imperfections. And should anyone make you feel miserable for being single at 30, here are some reasons to make you smile:

THIRTIES ARE THE NEW TWENTIES

Getting married early maybe cool, but for most people these days, 20's are all about getting careers sorted, travelling, enjoying life and getting to know themselves. In fact, a lot of people don't find enough time to date amidst all this (especially fulfilling career goals), so it makes sense if marriage happens after all that, so you have a lot of time to enjoy pure marital bliss.

YOU NEED TIME TO WORK ON YOURSELF

After the honeymoon period, relationships are all about sharing experiences. Everyone brings their share of craziness to the table, and you should never fall short of words when this happens. So take time, explore and have new experiences.

YOU CAN SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS

You've always heard married people complaining how they have to juggle between their work, friends, parents and their relationship. You're lucky you don't have to do any of that. You can have long late-night chats with your mom or spend long hours drinking and chatting with friends, without worrying about someone waiting at home.

NO OBLIGATIONS, WHATSOEVER

You are in the best phase of your life, wherein you are financially independent and still have no obligations whatsoever. A relationship means sharing and adjusting, you don't have to worry about any of these as long as you are single. Enjoy it, while it lasts.

NOT ANSWERABLE TO ANYONE

You can stay out till 4 am or hit your bed as early as 8 pm, or read your favourite book for hours or shop till your literally drop, you are not answerable to anyone. However, being committed or getting married would involve sharing finances for future investments like a home, car, insurance and your indulgences might have to take a backseat.

INDULGE YOUR CRAZY SIDE

Change of career, do up the house, wake up and get implusive and take a sudden trip or drive endlessly without knowing the road -you can do all these crazy things only when you are single. No one is going roll their eyes, if you go back to the same shop ten times till you are absolutely sure of buying those absolutely lovely pair of footwear.

FOREVER IS A LONG TIME

Spending the rest of your life with someone special seems like the most ideal situation, and everyone hopes that it lasts forever. However, forever is a long time, so what's the hurry. However long it takes to find the right guy, it will be worth it and you will have a lot of time to share.
